Cops Find Cute Kitten Abandoned At Police Station – He Becomes NYPD’s Friskiest Officer

Martin the tabby cat is definitely the cutest member of the NYPD.

In Brooklyn, this cute cat was discovered by cops at their police station after being abandoned.

He was dumped at the precinct by a woman in December and taken in as a temporary pet.

With a little persuasive snuggling, he was able to schmooze his way into the ranks of Coney Island’s 60th precinct as a permanent member of the team.

Named after his number one fan, officer Martin D. Costanza, this kitty now prowls the precinct in style with 3 food stations, napping baskets, a litter box and plenty of toys.

Deputy Inspector William Taylor had the following to say about the department’s one and only cat cop:

“He’s definitely lifted spirits. There’s not one person here, cop or civilian, that doesn’t adore this cat. He cheers me up. The guys come by and get a chuckle out of him; the ones who are having a hard day.”

As long as Martin is on patrol, this precinct can count on a paw-ful of cheer.
