Dad And Son Did Something Nice For A Stray Cat – Next Day She Came Back With A Surprise

Michael and his son often go camping, and they have found the perfect place. This past camping trip, however, the site wasn’t empty. Their regular camping site occupied by a cat, still had room for them. Hovering around the camp site was a female cat. The cat was starving for attention and made fast friends with Michael’s son.

Michael has said he believed the cat was abandoned but very familiar with human contact. Everywhere that his son went, the cat was in hot pursuit. Michael had a feeling that by the end of the trip, they would be bringing home a new pet.

With not a lot of food, they decided to catch some bluegill for the cat’s supper. The cat was so skinny and didn’t look like she had eaten for a while. She devoured the fish and shortly afterward vanished. Michael and his son looked for the female cat for a while, then decided to turn in for the night. 

“A Couple hours later I wake up to some noise and go outside to check. Now instead of 2 eyes staring at me, I see eight glowing eyes reflecting the light from my phone” Michael said on Imgur.

The female cat felt so comfortable with these two humans that she brought back her brood of kittens for food and attention. Michael and his son caught 13 bluegills and a couple of catfish, needless to say; the mama cat was well fed. Michael knew he could not leave these four cats in the wilderness.

He decided to take them home, and they are off to their first vet checkup this week. The response and generosity of readers have doubled the amount on a Go Fund Me page that Michael started for the vet bills.
