Dog Spotted Digging Through Trash Was Actually Trying To Save A Life

Julie the dog was just hanging around her neighborhood in Novo Horizonte, Brazil when a police officer spotted her going through the trash, as if looking for something.

When the officer approached the pooch, he noticed she was actually trying to save a newborn puppy’s life that was there. The officer called a local animal rescuer immediately and they took care of the tiny rescue.

Seeing this, Julie refused to leave the tiny cutie’s side and stayed to make sure he was better but since Julie couldn’t feed the puppy, they brought in another dog that became his foster dog momma, looking after him and feeding him so he’d regain strength.

Luckily, and thanks to Julie’s help, the baby will be doing just fine and will be up for adoption soon!
